The Central Iowa Art Association is pleased to announce our first Textile & Fiber

Art Fair to be held Saturday, July 11th in the Fisher Art Center auditorium. Textile

and fiber art has become a very popular and a sought after art medium in recent

years. Fiber, textile or quilt art all are defined as expressions of original design by

the artist as one would find in the range of visual arts. Range of visual arts

includes painting, printmaking, photography, graphic design, assemblage and

sculpture.

The Textile & Fiber Art Fair in July will feature accomplished and award winning

artisans from the Midwest. CIAA will also be offering courses in various skill areas

of textile and fiber art to be taught by artists. More information coming soon.
